"Genni" and I have had a busy Summer, completing her AKC Preferred Novice Standard and Novice Jumpers Agility titles on the same day both with 1st Place, qualified in Open Standard and Open Jumpers the following day, finished CPE Level 1 Handlers and Level 1 Fun Titles and qualified in several Level 2 classes as well ,earned her APDT Rally Level 1 with an Award of Excellence and all 1st Place Ribbons.

"Cassi" finished her AKC Rally Excellent title this Spring and earned her first leg on her RAE at the LRCGB Specialty. She also completed her APDT Rally Level 1 with an Award of Excellence and some nice placements.

Pasta completed her Junior Hunter Saturday July 24th at the Penobscot Hunting Retriever Club Hunt Test. She is now Riverbenz Pasta Primavera JH, WC. She also picked up a bumper leg on Sunday handled by Russ Bennett. This was Russ’ first time running a dog.  Way to go Pasta and Russ!! Owner: Pattie Duddy.

On Friday July 9th, 2010 at the Kennelworth KC shows in West Springfield Mass… Burri’s Lofty LadyHawke finished her CD… and with all her titles AKC and other is : ARCHX Burri's Lofty LadyHawke,CD,RA,RLVX,RL1x,RL2x, CGC, CC, TDIAOV, CSL1,CSL3-F. This CD is no small accomplishment for a 10 year old Labrador….. she is CH Willcare’s Master of the Hunt CD, JX x MacDonald’s Majestic Madison… Owned, Trained and Loved by Barb Burri.

NEW CANADIAN CHAMPION! Can Ch Grampian Lil’ Puckwudgie KaBoom, Can WC earned her new title handled by Liane Brennan of Labradale Labradors, reg. Going BOB over specials, KaBoom beat her half brother Can Ch Sno Robin Anderson.wden Hill’s As Time Goes By for the win! KaBoom is bred and owned by Gerrie Owren and (Ch Hyspire Shahli Hotter Than Blazes x Grampian Bedizened Viking, RN, SH, WCX, CGC, CC)

THREE NEW SENIOR HUNTERS AT GRAMPIAN! Robin Anderson and Gerrie Owren are pleased to present Am/U-Ch Viking Hil’Die Tanzbarin, RN, SH, WCX, and Snowden Hill Miss Daisy-Mae, RN, SH, WCX, CGC, CC, and Grampian Bedizened Viking, RN, SH, WCX, CGC, CC. Hildi is bred by Gerrie. DaisyMae is bred by Gladys Rogers, and Dazzle is bred by Robin. All three girls earned their Senior titles on Long Island, handled by Gerrie. Out of 17 tests, the Working Girls of Grampian earned 14 passes!

NEW CHAMPION! Am/U-Ch Grampian Lola Tortola Viking, RN, JH, WC, CGC was awarded back to back majors handled by Kathy Mines in Pennsylvania the weekend of June 19/20, finishing on Robin’s birthday. The previous week Lola was awarded a BOB and a Sporting Group IV. Bred by Robin, Lola is owned and loved by Robin Anderson, Gerrie Owren and Junior Handler Julia Sterritt. (Ch Hollyhills Delby’s Samuel Adams WC, CGC x Ch Snowden Hill Mango Crazy, JH, RA, WC, CGC).

Willcare’s Princess Macgregor UD,NA Leah was high in trial at the Lab Club June 17th trial in the Open B class. She had a run off with her sister Emma and won the run off. Age won over youth! Beth Teixeira who ownes and handles them both.

Macgregor’s Blonde Moment CD ( Emma) earned her CD Title at the Labrador Retriever Club of Greater Boston June 17th placing first for each leg. She then had to go back in the ring for a run off for High In Trial with her sister Willcare’s Princess Macgregor (Leah )

At the Shoreline Retriever Club hunt test on June 23, Timber Member Town Turn Me Loose, MH, VCD2, RE (Kaya) and her proud owner/handler Rainer Fuchs qualified for the 2010 Master National.

May 20 - VDC Margaret Mitchell’s black labrador retriever CAN. CH.MEADOWMERE’S COASTAL CUTTER WC went BOB over 18 Labs and the Special. May 21 - YCKC “Cutter’ went RWD with 23 labs.

My Diesel finished his SH at our clubs test in April. His name is now Mirabelle’s SBJ Diesel SH. Not bad for a runned over dog! Millie Secco.

Thorn and I got our second Utility leg at the Bullmastiff obedience trial at the beginning of May with a very nice score and a first place. I was planning to take the summer off from obedience competitions (you know, sit by the pool and sip margaritas), but after he got his second leg, I just couldn’t do that! So, I signed him up for another show in July. So much for taking the Summer off! I guess there’s no rest for the weary! Penny Shultz

Graycroft Carolina Jubilee, CD, RE, CGC (Ch. Lobuff’s Bare Necessities, CD, JH x Graycroft Carpenter By The Sea) – Carina completed her Rally Novice title at the LRCGB trial in Franklin, MA on March 7, 2010, earned the third leg toward her CD at the Casco Bay DTC trial in Bath, ME on April 17, 2010, finished her Rally Advanced title at the American Bullmastiff trial in Franklin, MA on May 8, 2010, and achieved her Rally Excellent title at the LRCGB trial in Westford, MA on June 17, 2010.  Bred by Anna Clark, Carina is loved, trained, and handled by Ellen Brinker and faithfully walked by Marianne Brinker.  :)

On Friday March 5th at the Collie Club of Maine Rally Trial in S. Portland, ME: Weskeag Casually Dressed RN "Cassi" [CH Ghoststone Hyspire Dressed to Impress x Gaba's Weskeag Isadora RA] qualified in Rally Advanced A with a score of 93 and placed 3rd in the class for her first Advanced Leg. Weskeag RVF Sincerity "Ceri" [Tameric's Jake x Ridgeview Farm's Generosity CD RN CGC CL1-R] qualifed in Rally Novice B with a score of 93 for her second Rally Novice leg.

At the LRCGB Obedience and Rally trials on March 6th and 7th in Franklin, MA, Ridgeview Farm's Generosity CD RN CGC CL1-R "Genni" [CH Ridgeview Farm's Bear Hugs JH x Ridgeview Farm's W.B. CD JH] qualifed in Open A and placed 4th in the class for her second CDX leg and 1st place Labrador in Class. On Sunday "Cassi" qualified in Advanced A for her 2nd leg and First Place Labrador in Class, and "Ceri" qualifed in Novice B with a score of 99 and First Place in Class and First Place Labrador and her title! Cassi and Ceri are bred, owned and shown by Donna Cook. Genni is bred by and co-owned with Lynn Thomas and owned and shown by Donna Cook.

U-CD ARCHX Grampian Raptor Mystique CD RE NAP NJP NFP RL3 CLT1 TDI CC CGC completed his Novice Fast Preferred agility title at the Tartan Gordon Setter trial in Amherst NH on 2/14/2010, a lovely valentines gift. The weekend of March 13th Merlin earned his UKC CD. Barb Burri is Merlin’s owner and trainer.

Maritime Serenading Spirit JH, WCI,CC took a fi rst place in the Am Bred class at LRCGB match. Owned by Julie Jussaume and Annemarie Galvin.

CH Sasco’s Gibraltar, CDX, RN “Pierre” completed his CDX at the Collie Club Trial in Portland ME on Friday March 12th. Pierre is bred, owned, and trained by Kris Maloney.
